Do Active Heroes Create Active Villains?

If there are Real Life Superheroes, does that mean the existence of Real Life Supervillains?
There are a few answers to this particular question: No, Yes, and No.
No. Real Life Superheroes (RLSH) have no super powers but have become active in their area due to local crime. Unlike the comic book counterparts, RLSH who are out on crime and safety patrol are more or less there to help regular people in need - not seek out criminal activity for a take down. Sometimes confrontations do happen. The criminals who are encountered are often caught on bodycams or the police are called in while the RLSH is there to defend victims. There is nothing super about the criminals encountered.

Yes. After the big RLSH movement started up in the early 2000s, there was a counter-movement that called itself Real Life Supervillains (RLSV). The RLSV were mostly internet trolls who would belittle and bash the RLSH through social media and early podcasts like Blog Talk Radio. The RLSH mainly view the RLSV as annoyances and internet trolls. If there were any good from the RLSV, it was the fact that they would call out any RLSH on their bullshit. With all this being said, the early RLSV would sometimes show up to some HOPE charity events which doesn't sound too villainous. If they were to truly be RLSV, we would see them in the news in some outfit with a villainous name committing some sort of big crime.
No. There is no history of RLSV emerging as mastermind criminals due to RLSH. There have only been internet trolls referring to themselves as “real life supervillains” in almost a parody or mocking behavior in comparison to the RLSH.
Here is a video from 2012 where Rex Velvet (RLSV from Seattle) calls out Phoenix Jones on his bullshit. It's very theatrical.
Here is another where Rex Velvet calls for an end to the RLSH movement with a message directly to Phoenix Jones.
So what you do think? It's okay to like some the RLSV actions while disliking others. Take a gander around the internet and search for "Real Life Supervillains". Leave comments and questions below.
On an entire other note, if you are an RLSH, please take a moment to fill out this RLSH 2025 Demographics Survey. It's anonymous. Just looking to gather some general information to study.
