I wasn’t sure what to expect with a bodycam under $30 when I picked this thing up.  For a cheap bodycam, I like it.

The bodycam is small and I’ve been able to make a little hidden pocket on my summer uniform vest.  I’ve also worn it clipped on willy-nilly and no one seems to really notice it.  It does capture video in a vertical position only, so you may have to rotate your footage when editing. The video and audio quality are pretty solid.

It’s fairly easy to use with buttons on the side.

What I don’t like is that I feel like I need to really secure it in place.  Yes, it has a large backside clip, but I still feel like it's going to fall off.  What I did to secure it is to create a backside hidden pocket with an opening to the front.  This way it's a little more hidden and there is no way it’s simply falling off.

Why pick up a bodycam? If you are going out on patrol of any kind, consider a bodycam. It provides your perspective of things (primary action), if an altercation/interaction does occur it records it (secondary action), and it may also pick up tertiary action. Tertiary action would be people/things going on in the background. This can come into play if you capture footage of a missing person, criminal activity, emergency situation, vehicle of importance, or something else that may be of importance later on.
